First panelists concentrated on abridgment of civil rights and violation of the American constitution by the Bush Administration

The panel, moderated by Paul George, Executive Director of Peninsula Peace and Justice Center, included: Brandon Mayfield, an Oregon lawyer who was falsely linked to the Madrid train bombings in 2004 and Elden Rosenthal, his lawyer, Rick Callender, President of the San Jose/Silicon Valley NAACP  and Hope Marston, the west region organizer for the Bill of Rights Defense Committee.

Second panel concentrated on the immigration issue

The second panel concentrated on the immigration issue. It was moderated by Teresa Castellanos program manager of Immigrant Relations and Integration Services (IRIS) of The Office of Human Relations, Santa Clara County . The panelists were: Dolores Huerta, President of the Dolores Huerta Foundation dedicated to Community Organizing Lillian Litzsey, social worker and Richard Hobbs, the Director of the Office of Human Relations of Santa Clara County.

Interfaith prayers was another feature of the AMV peace convention
